Machines

Fabrication is based on using machines to make parts.

These machines subtract or take away material to create the desired part.

A CNC router that uses an endmill to cut polycarbonate or wood.

A CNC router that uses an endmill to cut aluminum.

A CNC mill that uses a large variety of different endmills to cut steel or aluminum.

Mills are larger than routers. Mills are more heavy-duty, and specialize in cutting harder metals than routers.

These machines add or eject material to create the desired part.
